Merchlar, a Montreal, Canada-based startup that applies Augmented Reality in a variety of industries, received an investment from Speed of Trust Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by Awane Jones, Founder and CEO, Merchlar is a digital creative agency specializing in AR (Augmented Reality) aiming to redefine the user experience in all aspects of mobile and web development for companies and individuals. Firstly dedicated to brand building projects, it will now expand to focus on cultural center implementations, major conferences, and the real estate industry where project visualization is a key component of the sales process.
They have already worked across a wide range of industries and brands including Sid Lee, the Montreal Canadiens, Videotron, STM, Spafax, Alliance VivaFilm, Desjardins, Bell, Montreal Jazz Festival, Toronto Film Festival, Ubisoft, JP Morgan, Travel Channel and more.
