Lecorpio, a Fremont, CA-based provider of intellectual property (IP) management and analytics platform, raised an additional $15m in funding.
The round was led by M2O. As part of the latest round, Mike Smerklo, technology entrepreneur and former chairman and CEO of Servicesource, will join Lecorpio as an investor and as a board observer.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, product development and expansion into new markets.
Led by Jay Madsen, CEO, Lecorpio provides cloud-based IP management and analytics solutions. Its enterprise-class suite of applications spans the entire IP supply chain, including invention disclosure management, patent and trademark management, e-billing, licensing management and general matters management.
Lecorpio is used by innovators such as Adobe, T-Mobile, Analog Devices, Rockwell Automation, NEC, NetApp and Red Hat.
