Forks, a Seattle, WA-based restaurant coupon app for iOS devices, closed a funding round with Northwest Capital Consulting.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to acquire users (with a goal of 2 million new users by 2016), while at the same time working to expand our enterprise client-base.
Led by Cole Van Leuven, founder and CEO, Forks is a location-based app that offers coupons that are instantly redeemable at quick service, casual, and fast casual restaurants.
The service, which offers more than 50,000 individual restaurant options nationwide through partnerships with Valpak, Groupon, Restaurant.com and LivingSocial, has been offering mobile delivery of coupons to local, regional and enterprise restaurant businesses since 2013.
