McLean, Virginia-based Financial holding company Capital One Financial Corporation acquired Oakland, California-based design and development company Monsoon.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by CEO Sandeep Sood, Monsoon also launched Kunai, a rebranded agency made of a team of designers, developers, and product managers of the Monsoon team that is not going over with the acquisition.
RainFactory, the existing agency that handles technical marketing for eCommerce companies, Fortune 500 corporations, and crowdfunding campaigns, will be moving to a new office in Oakland.
