Amistad Energy Partners, LLC, a Houston, Texas-based newly formed independent oil and gas company, received a $150m equity investment.
Backers included Kayne Anderson Energy Funds and members of the management team.
Led by Bryant Chapman, President and CEO; Paul Bradley, Senior Vice President and CFO; Roger Reddin, Senior Vice President of Production; and Chris Harder, Senior Vice President of Drilling and Completion, Amistad is company formed to target the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas assets in North America.
It will consider opportunities throughout select North American basins with an initial focus on the Mid-Continent, Permian Basin and East Texas regions.
