UrbanClap, a New Delhi, India-based mobile-based services marketplace, raised $10m in Series A funding.
Backers included existing investors Accel Partners and SAIF Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to build its technology, hire new people and expand into 15 cities this year.
Co-founded by Abhiraj Bhal, Raghav Chandra and Varun Khaitan, UrbanClap allows users to find the right service professionals for such activities as decorating home, getting pictures of weddings, repairs, parties etc. Have a look at how it works here.
