RRE Ventures Adds Raju Rishi as General Partner and Promotes Alice Lloyd George to Associate

RRE Ventures, LLC, a New York City-based venture capital firm, added Raju Rishi as a General Partner and promoted Alice Lloyd George to the role of Associate.

Rishi brings to RRE’s investment team over 20 years of experience as a technology entrepreneur, executive and investor specializing in mobility, SaaS, consumer & enterprise software and telecom. He comes from Sigma Prime Ventures, where he served as a Venture Partner based in New York. Prior to Sigma Prime Ventures, Rishi co-founded and served as COO and CMO at Rave Mobile Safety, a provider of SaaS-based safety solutions employed by schools and state/local governments to keep their community members secure and connected. Earlier in his career, he co-founded SwiftReach Networks and held executive roles at Vettro, AT&T and Lucent. Rishi is a graduate of M.I.T., where he earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering.

Lloyd George joined RRE in 2014 as an analyst. She focuses on developing RRE’s emerging technologies investment thesis, concentrating on early stage investments around the blockchain and cryptocurrencies; machine learning and computer vision; and virtual/augmented reality.

Prior to joining RRE, Lloyd George was at Signia Venture Partners and Bridgewater Associates. She also lived in Beijing conducting research as a Brookings Institute fellow. George began her career at The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong, covering business and politics in Malaysia, India, Australia, Burma and China. She graduated with a BA from Princeton and is a Mentor to Princeton’s Entrepreneurship Lab.
