Relay2 Raises $10M in Fourth Funding

Relay2_logoRelay2, Milpitas, Calif.-based provider of a Cloud Wi-Fi Services platform which allows Service Providers to monetize value added Wi-Fi services over a Cloud Wi-Fi infrastructure, raised $10M in its fourth round of funding.

The company, which is currently leaving the round open, intends to use the funds to grow its sales and marketing efforts and accelerate the expansion of the its Cloud-controlled WiFi services platform.

Founded in 2011 and led by by newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Greg Daily, who brings more than 25 years of management and executive experience, including private and public companies, strategy development, P&L, and executive sales management, Relay2 has developed a WiFi Services platform designed to enable Mobile Network Operators, Wireline Carriers and Managed Service Providers to monetize horizontal and vertical business applications and services on top of a Cloud WiFi access network delivered to their B2B and B2C enterprise clients.
The Relay2 Cloud WiFi Services solution allows B2C businesses such as retail, hospitality and public venues to deploy OTT WiFi services and mobile applications, including App distribution, advertising, O2O, multicast video and more. Similarly, B2B businesses can integrate office communications services such as site-to-site VPN and VoIP as part of a managed Cloud WiFi service.

Daily’s priority will be to identify key market segments for the company’s platform and drive adoption and expansion in those markets.
