Constitution Capital Partners Closes $823M Fund

ccp-logoConstitution Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on North American small to mid-cap buyouts, raised $823m in commitments.

Ironsides III Private Equity Partnership/Co-Investment Funds will focus on investments in primary funds with $200m to $1.5 billion in commitments and direct co-investments with enterprise values between $100m and $1 billion.

To date, Ironsides III has closed seven direct co-investments and three fund investments.

Led by Managing Partners Daniel M. Cahill and John J. Guinee, the Constitution Capital Partners manages segregated accounts for the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) and a limited number of other large institutions. Limited partners are institutional investors from the U.S., UK, Europe, South America and Asia, as well as family offices and high net worth investors from throughout these markets.
As of June 2015, the team of nine has managed over $3.0 billion in committed capital, including $1.3 billion at prior firms and invested in 24 partnerships and 26 direct co-investments.
