Belong Raises $5M in Series A Funding

Belong, a Bengaluru, India-based recruitment startup, raised R30 Cr ($5m) in Series A funding.

The round was led by Matrix Partners and Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, the co-founders of Snapdeal, with participation from existing investors Blume Ventures, Phanindra Sama, Raju Reddy.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the tech team and advance the technology.

Founded by Vijay Sharma and Sudheendra Chilappagari, Belong provides a cloud-based data science and predictive analytics platform for companies to discover and engage talent.
The company currently serves companies like Snapdeal, Zivame, LocalOye, among others.
