Sizmek Acquires StrikeAd

Sizmek Inc. (Nasdaq: SZMK), an open ad management platform company for multiscreen campaigns, acquired StrikeAd, a dedicated Mobile advertising Demand Side Platform (DSP).

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The acquisition supports Sizmek’s strategy of continuing to invest and expand its mobile offering.

Led by Alex Rahaman, CEO, StrikeAd provides a DSP that enables advertisers, agencies, and publishers to plan, optimize, deliver and measure mobile advertising campaigns on a global scale. Following the transaction, the StrikeAd platform will be integrated into the Sizmek MDX platform.

Led by Neil Nguyen, CEO and President, Sizmek is a third party ad server working with over 3,400 agencies, over 17,000 brand advertisers and 22,000 global web publishers, serving ads in 60 countries.
