Recruiter.com Raises over $350K in Funding

recruiter-logoRecruiter.com, a Farmington, CT-based online recruiting service, raised over $350k in funding.

A group of angel investors led by Thomas Zipp made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its services.

Founded in 2010 by CEO Miles Jennings and CTO Ashley Saddul, Recruiter.com is a new online recruiting service that uses proprietary technology for employers to find the right employees.
It currently works with over 150 clients and employers and manages social media followings of over 2 million people.

The company has also formed the advisory board with its first two members:
– Douglas Roth, Director, Investments at Connecticut Innovations, Inc. (CI). At CI, Douglas is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, evaluating and negotiating investments and serving on the boards of portfolio companies, and
– David Wieland, a serial entrepreneur and angel investor who has exited two companies (Innflux and Powersurge) and currently serves as CEO of RIVS and owner of iEstates. RIVS provides a cloud-based voice and video interviewing platform for enterprise companies, including over a dozen Fortune 500s. iEstates is a media company that owns and operates sites like Austin.com, MBAs.com, Wrong.com and Bourbon.com.
