Nexercise Raises an Additional Funding Round

SworkitPro_iconNexercise, a Baltimore-based and veteran-led customizable fitness app company, raised a funding round of undisclosed amount.

Backers included follow-on investor Militello Capital.

The company will use the funds to launch its new app, Sworkit.

Led by Benjamin Young, CEO, and Greg Coleman, COO, Nexercise provides Sworkit (derived from Simply WORK IT), a fitness app that takes users through 5-60+ minute strength, yoga, pilates and stretching workouts requiring no equipment. It offers Sworkit Lite, which is available for free on iOS, Android, and Amazon and Sworkit Pro, which provides a new level of customization and personalization opportunities.
A custom workout builder allows both novices and professionals (e.g. physical therapists, personal trainers, physical education instructors, doctors, etc) to create and share custom routines from a growing library of over 170 different exercises.
