Metabiota, a San Francisco, CA-based comprehensive risk analytics provider, raised $30m in funding.
The round was led by RSTP with participation from Capricorn Health & Special Opportunities, WP Global Partners, Industry Ventures and Data Collective.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop and deliver epidemic risk management worldwide.
Led by Dr. Nathan Wolfe, founder and CEO, Metabiota provides a risk analytics platform that delivers actionable, data-driven insights for countries, governments and corporations to manage and mitigate infectious diseases.
The company has operations in 20 countries and offices in San Francisco, Washington, China, Canada, and Sierra Leone working with local governments, health agencies, private sector firms and non-profit organizations.
