InDemand Interpreting, a Seattle, WA-based provider of Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and other language services to healthcare, raised $4m in additional equity funding.
Backers included Health Enterprise Partners and Providence Ventures. In addition, InDemand raised $3 million in debt financing from Square One Bank (read here).
This money will be used for additional research and development, as well as expansion of the sales force.
Founded in 2007 and led by CEO Jim Ewel, InDemand Interpreting provides doctors, nurses and clinicians with quality language services used by approximately 500 healthcare facilities every day.
