Courion, a Westborough, MA-based provider of intelligent identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions, acquired Bay31 AG, a Zug, Switzerland-based provider of advanced access governance solutions for organizations to ensure secure access to business processes.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The acquisition will enable Courion to enhance its product offerings in role mining and role-based access control, particularly for large and complex applications.
Co-founded by CEO Cris Merritt and CTO Alessandro Colantonio, Bay31 provides access governance solutions for companies to ensure secure access to business processes and reduce the cost of compliance. Their products for identity analytics, access risk management and SAP security let businesses manage access to critical information and processes.
The company has operations in Geneva and software development in Rome, Italy.
