Ameritas Technologies, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based provider of domestic IT services, received a vc investment from Sacramento-based Moneta Ventures.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
In conjunction with the funding, Lokesh Sikaria, founder and Managing Partner of Moneta Ventures, will join the board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale up its operations and service offerings.
Led by Brian Keane, CEO, and Brent Kelton, President, Ameritas Technologies provides domestic consulting services for mission-critical IT projects offering services for the development, deployment, enhancement, maintenance, QA/testing and production monitoring of business applications and their supporting infrastructures.
