StartUp Health Launches Syndicate on AngelList

StartUpHealthStartUp Health, a Chicago, IL-based global entrepreneurship development company, has launched a health innovation-focusedsyndicate on AngelList.

It will allow healthcare startups to get the support and resources needed to nurture meaningful innovation. Accredited investors can now access to select StartUp Health Academy™ companies and co-invest alongside other notable institutional and angel investors.
The StartUp Health Academy is a global, long-term entrepreneurship program and peer network focused on helping entrepreneurs build scalable growth companies and increase the equity value of their startups.
StartUp Health currently has a portfolio of 97 digital health companies from 9 countries.

The StartUp Health Syndicate on AngelList plans to syndicate up to 12 deals per year that meet very specific criteria and help them grow via participation in StartUp Health Academy. It does not take a carry in the deals they syndicate.
The deals will have already received commitments for at least 50% of their round, with at least 20% of the round from a notable institutional or angel investor, who has negotiated or agreed to the terms of the deal.

The syndicate’s first portfolio company is Tute Genomics, a a Provo, Utah-based clinical genome interpretation platform.
