SiteZeus Secures $2.2M in Funding

sitezeusSiteZeus, a Tampa, Fla.-based developer of site selection technology for new and established brands, secured $2.2m in funding.

Backers included Chris Sullivan, Bloomin’ Brands partner and co-founder of Outback Steakhouse, as well as Baldwin Beach Capital.

The company, which has raised $2.65m to date, intends to use the funds to expand its team and bring the platform to market in 2015.

Co-founded by Hannibal Baldwin, Keenan Baldwin and Azad Ratzki in 2013, SiteZeus is to launch (within the next month) a real-time, web-based site selection technology platform that aims to allow the restaurant, retail and hospitality industries to automate data sourcing, aggregation, analysis and presentation to understand the core attribute drivers for their existing and new locations on a local, regional and national level, leading to better real estate decisions.
The technology consumes more than three billion data points across the nation within behavioral demographics, transportation patterns, points of interest, climate, sales cannibalism, social media, SEO and real estate attributes such as parking, access, square footage etc. to produce location intelligence.

Currently in beta, the solution has been deployed by more than a dozen brands.
