Redbird Receives €2M Investment from GDF SUEZ

Redbird-logoRedbird, a Paris, France-based expert in the analysis of technical data collected by drones, received a €2m investment from GDF SUEZ.

The investment was made by GDF SUEZ’s GDF SUEZ New Ventures. The agreement should enable the two companies to strengthen their partnership in the short term in two main areas:
– Maintenance and monitoring of natural gas infrastructures;
– Services for industrial clients and security for public institutions (major sporting events and festivals), thermography, topography, etc.

The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its growth, accelerate the development of new solutions and enhance existing synergies with GDF SUEZ.

Emmanuel de Maistre, President, Redbird provides solutions to optimize resources, improve performances, and secure operations via the analysis and the processing of aerial data acquired by drones. The company provides UAVs, sensors and data processing chains in three major sectors: network infrastructure (railway, power line and pipeline), construction and Public Works and precision farming via three business units: Network Supervision, Geospatial, and Agribusiness.
