Intel Education and Intel Capital have launched an edtech accelerator.
Intel Education Accelerator is a thematic accelerator program designed to allow education technology startups to innovate the education industry
And improve the success opportunities of students.
The program will provide selected companies with the opportunity to receive guidance and insights from technology, business and education experts, leverage Intel’s global reach and relationships with educators and governments in more than 100 countries; and secure investments of up to $100k from Intel Capital.
The first edition of the accelerator, which will be located at GSVlabs in Redwood City, in California, will start in August 2015 and will end with a demo day in the first week of December 2015.
