Forcare, a Zeist, The Netherlands-based developer of a software suite that integrates existing healthcare systems, raised €5m in funding.
Prime Ventures made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to reinforce its technological lead, expand its sales team and strengthen its worldwide position, focusing on North America and European countries like Germany, France, Russia and the UK.
Led by CEO Harm-Jan Wessels, Forcare develops software that integrates existing healthcare systems to allow professionals to access to medical information, even if systems are based on various industry standards.
The company was founded in 2006 and currently employs 35 people.
