New York City-based growth equity firm Catalyst Investors closed its fourth fund, at $377m.
Founded in 1999 by Brian Rich, Managing Partner, the firm makes both minority and majority investments between $10m and $60m.
Catalyst Investors IV will continue to pursue its strategy to make investments in companies in growth sectors such as business and consumer services (digital media, eCommerce, healthcare IT, and education technology), cloud computing (SaaS and business intelligence), and communications infrastructure (wireless towers, wireless spectrum, and data centers).
The fund has already completed its first investment in the communications infrastructure space.
