Visually Raises $3.3M in Funding

Visually LogoVisually, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of on-demand creative services for companies, raised $3.3m in funding.

The round was led by Crosslink with participation from 500 Startups, Mitch Kapor Foundation and SoftTech VC.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its services offerings.

Led by Matt Cooper, CEO, Tal Siach, Co-founder and VP of Marketing, Jessica Burdman, VP of Operations, and David Wygant, Head of Product, Visually leveraged an online project management platform and curated freelance workforce to provide marketers, content strategist, and PR professionals with premium creative services including infographics, branded videos, interactive web experiences, whitepapers and short-form micro-content optimized for distribution on social media channels.
The platform is currently used by more than 1,300 brands including AOL, Red Bull, Twitter, NBC, and P&G. Visually has also signed strategic distribution partnerships with Percolate, Newscred, Nativo and Outbrain,

The company had previously raised $2M in a seed funding round in 2011, $2.3M in convertible note funding in March 2013, and $8.1M in January 2014 (read here).
