Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) acquired Periscope, a developer of a livestreaming app.
The amount of the deal, which closed in January, was not disclosed.

Co-Founded by Kayvon Beykpour and Joe Bernstein, Twitter the company is currently expanding the beta.
