Chicago-based Inventus Solutions acquired Unified OS Ltd., a London, UK-based provider of eDiscovery and managed services to corporations, law firms and government agencies across Europe.
The financial terms were not disclosed. It is known that GE Capital’s Telecom, Media and Technology team provided financing to support the transaction.
For Inventus, a U.S. eDiscovery and managed services provider and a current Clearlake Capital Group portfolio company, the acquisition marks its expansion into Europe and its focus on adding a leading managed review platform to its suite. The combination creates a global, full legal process outsourcing (LPO) solution with the capability of servicing target clientele operating in multiple international jurisdictions.
Following the transaction, Unified’s leadership team will join the Inventus management team led by CEO Trevor Campion. Its operations will continue to be led by Paul Mankoo and Noel Kilby who join the Company as President of Inventus International and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.
