Hypori Secures $6.7M in Series-A1 Funding

hyporiHypori, a Austin, Texas-based provider of virtual mobile infrastructure (VMI) solutions to shield enterprises from the risks of BYOD, secured an additional $6.7m in Series-A1 funding.

The company, which has now raised $13.8m, intends to use the funds to ramp-up commercial sales.

Backers included Green Visor Capital as well as numerous private equity investors.

Founded in 2011 and led by Justin Marston, CEO, Hypori provides virtual mobile infrastructure (VMI) solutions to shield enterprises from the risks of BYOD. The company’s Android Cloud Environment (ACE) platform, co-developed with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), is a mobile-first thin client solution that provides remote access to virtual mobile devices running in a private, public or hybrid cloud that can be accessed from iPads, iPhones and Android end-point devices.
Clients include defense organizations and Fortune 1000 companies around the world.
