HoneyBook Raises $22M

honeybookHoneyBook, a San Francisco, CA-based management service for event professionals, closed a $22m Series B round of funding.

The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from Aleph and Hillsven.

The company, which has raised $32m to date, intends to use the funds to scale its collaborative platform and make it available to more event professionals in every major US city, firstly in Los Angeles and New York.

Led by Oz Alon, CEO, HoneyBook provides an invite-only platform that streamlines all of the elements and processes of event planning including booking, collecting payments and collaboration.

Previous investors in the company included Aleph, UpWest Labs, Hillsven, Ev Williams, James Currier and Stan Chudnovsky of Ooga Labs, Naval Ravikant of AngelList, Ben Ling of Khosla Ventures, Michael Birch of Bebo, and Ben Narasin.
