Harvest.ai Raises $2.3M in Seed Funding

Harvest.ai (formerly known as 405Labs), a San Diego, CA-based developer of a data loss prevention platform, raised $2.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Trinity Ventures. Fred Wang, General Parter at Trinity Ventures, will join the board of Harvest.ai in conjunction with the financing.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the team (http://www.harvest.ai/careers/) and secure new clients.

Led by Alexander Watson, CEO and Founder, Harvest.ai applies AI-based algorithms to learn the business value of critical documents across an organization and detect and stop data breaches from targeted attacks and insider threat before data is stolen.
