GlimpzIt, a San Francisco, CA-based visual dialogue platform, raised $1.1m in seed funding.
Backers included Founders Co-op, David Humphrey and Seattle Angel Conference.
Founded in 2014 by Parry Bedi and Sami Kaipa, GlimpzIt provides a platform that for marketers to platform to gather insights, solicit content, run interactive campaigns, etc. It aims to enable marketers to engage with a new generation of consumers who increasingly communicate using photos that are taken mainly on smartphones.
The platform is currently in private beta, with customers such as NBC Entertainment, Research Now, and Tahzoo actively using it.
