EDGE Edtech Accelerator Launches in New York City

edgetechEDGE Edtech has just launched its 2015 EDGE Accelerator program in New York City.

Co-founded by Don Burton, former Managing Director of the Kaplan/Techstars EdTech Accelerator, and Jonathan D. Harber, the entrepreneur behind Schoolnet, Inc., the accelerator is now accepting applications for the September 2015 class from startups focused on technology solutions to improve education and learning, across all stages from birth through lifelong learning.

Each of the ten companies selected for the three-month mentor-led program will receive $170k in funding. The Accelerator, which runs from September to December 2015, also provides mentorship, coaching, legal services, agile development expertise, sales consulting, and business development, among other resources.

Applications are available at www.EdgeAccelerator.com rolling admissions begin immediately with selections concluding June 25.

A Demo Day will allow companies to present to a network of angel and venture capital education investors.
