Building Energy Secures $300K in Growth Funding

Seattle-based Lighter Capital provided the capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and enhance its solutions.

Led by D. Magnus Cheifetz, CEO, Building Energy provides a platform for building owners, managers, and energy service providers to make informed decisions about energy consumption and environmental impact.
Its cloud technology brings together energy data on the 5.6 million commercial buildings in the U.S. to allow providers and utilities to deliver cost-effective energy efficiency improvements to building owners.
The company will launch its city-scale energy efficiency offering in the first quarter of 2015 with lead users, commercial partners, and strategic alliances.
