Aryaka, a Milpitas, CA-based provider of network optimization and application acceleration platform, raised $16m in funding.
The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Trinity Ventures, InterWest Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures, and Presidio Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its global sales infrastructure for its products.
Led by Ajit Gupta, Founder & CEO, Aryaka offers Aryaka ONE, an integrated platform to address all WAN needs, including optimized connectivity of geographically dispersed offices, Application Delivery, and Cloud Networks.
Its WAN Optimization as-a-Service solution provides organizations with an optimized, and fully meshed network to access on-premises applications, as well as cloud services and enable globally distributed employees, customers, partners, and mobile end users to access centralized enterprise applications and public-facing web resources from anywhere in the world.
Customers include Fortune 100 as well as small- and medium-sized companies with global operations.
