Busbridge, UK-based software company a2om acquired Roadio, a London, UK-based creator of a mobile app to improve the way people learn to drive.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Co-founded by Mawuli Ladzekpo and Nick Daniels, who will both join the board of a2om and continue to run Roadio as a wholly-owned subsidiary inside the business, Roadio develops apps to enhance the standard of drivers and improve road safety.
It is used by more than 2,500 driving instructors.
Roadio was part of 2014’s cohort at Wayra Unltd, an accelerator for digital technology social ventures.
