TecSport Games Inc., an El Segundo, California-based mobile gaming company, raised $1m in funding.
The round was led by Moneta Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand the game development team, secure additional exclusive entertainment licenses, and augment commercial operations into the white label and business-to-business arenas.
Founded in 2011 and led by Martin Carr, CEO, TecSport Games has developed a cloud-based platform to deliver mobile games with partners including FIFA, Now Music, Discovery, EMI Music, SONY/BMG, BBC, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Freemantle, Eurosport, Sky Sports, American Idol, Blockbusters, Tomb Raider, Championship Manager and the Price is Right.
TecSport’s games are available free to download from the Apple App Store/Google Play Store.
