Axel Springer’s generalist job site StepStone acquired ictjob SPRL, a job board for IT professionals.
Founded in 2007, ictjob SPRL operates ictjob.be and ictjob.lu, the leading job boards in Belgium and Luxemburg for IT professionals. Today, ictjob.be has over 25.000 verified CVs from IT professionals in its database.
The deal, whose amount was not disclosed, will enable StepStone to enhance its positioning in the IT recruitment sector in Belgium and Luxemburg.
Following the acquisition, which does not include the Spanish (http://www.ticjob.es) and French (http://www.jobtic.fr/) partner platforms, StepStone and ictjob SPRL will continue to work as separate entities and provide services to their respective customers, sharing best practices in order to optimize both companies’ technological solutions and deliver better results to recruiters and candidates.
