SecureKey Technologies Raises $19M in Series C Funding

securekey-logoSecureKey Technologies, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of identity network services, raised $19m in Series C funding.

Backers included current investors Blue Sky Capital and Rogers Venture Partners LLC.

The company intends to use the funds to bring its identity and authentication network services to key market sectors worldwide.

Led by Charles Walton, CEO, SecureKey provides a cloud-based identity and authentication platform for organizations that deliver online consumer services to eliminate the need to store passwords by linking consumer ID to trusted devices. Its concierge service currently serves the Government of Canada and other customers with services based upon its partnerships within the Canadian banking community.

The company, which also has offices in Boston, Washington D.C., and San Francisco, named Didier Serra to the role of Executive Vice President.
