Kimble Applications, a London, UK-based professional services automation (PSA) provider, secured another US$1.8m (£1.2m) in funding.
Backers included existing investors as well as Sussex Place Ventures, the venture capital arm of London Business School.
The company, which has expanded its US presence by opening a new office in Boston, intends to use the funds to continue to expand in the US. It already had offices in Arizona and Utah.
Led by Sean Hoban, CEO, Kimble Applications provides cloud Professional Services Automation software (compatible with the Salesforce platform) that streamlines business processes featuring, in a single product, the combined functionality of separate Opportunity management, PSA, T&E and Financial reporting systems.
Customers include IT and management consultancies, accountancy and law firms and communication agencies globally.
