InterviewJet, a New York City-based provider of a members-only hiring platform, raised $750K in seed funding.
Backers included the technology recruiting firm Mitchell Martin.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its team and to expand geographically.
First introduced in beta in January 2014 by Josh Holtzman, CEO, InterviewJet brings elements of a flash sale concept to the talent marketing space by granting select employers limited 72 hour access to request, secure and schedule interviews with tech professionals. Each week, InterviewJet hand-selects and curates a group of talent and promotes them to employer members via a direct email push. Employers can then utilize the company’s platform to browse detailed profiles and engage with the talent through each phase of the hiring process.
In the 12 months since beta launch, InterviewJet has been adopted as a hiring platform by 450 active employers, including Venmo, Wildcard, XO Group, Razorfish, Harry’s, Splash and Urban Compass, which gained access to software engineers (Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, Java), mobile developers, data scientists, ux/ui designers, and product managers.
