Impartus Innovations Raises $4.1M in Series A Funding

impartusImpartus Innovations, a Bangalore, India-based provider of videos for classrooms, raised $4.1m in Series A funding.

India private equity fund Kaizen made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to expand in India and in other international markets in SE Asia, UK, USA and Africa.

Co-Founded by Alok Choudhary, Amit Mahensaria and Manish Kumar, Impartus aims to bring videos into mainstream learning, through its flagship products in Lecture Capture (automated classroom recording and distribution) and Flipped Classroom.
Its solutions are used by 40+ universities and schools pan India with more than 2,000+ hours per day of videos getting recorded, processed and distributed online to students and faculties.
Clients include IIM Bangalore, SP Jain Mumbai, PES Institute of Technology Bangalore, BMS College of Engineering Bangalore, Manipal Group, Shiv Nadar Group, Podar Group, Great Lakes Chennai.

The company has also entered into a partnership with Pearson India to distribute its Lecture Capture solution and integrate it with Pearson’s e-learning products.
