Getable Secures $5M in Series A Funding

getableGetable, a San Francisco, CA-based app for ordering and tracking construction equipment, secured $5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by The Social+Capital Partnership with participation from individuals at Ghilotti Brothers, Inc., Pacific Structures, Zachary Construction, DPR Construction, Darren Bechtel, a member of the Bechtel engineering and construction family and Managing Director of Brick & Mortar Ventures. In conjunction with the financing, Ted Maidenberg, a general partner at The Social+Capital Partnership, joined Getable’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its services nationwide.

Launched in 2010 and led by Tim Hyer, CEO, Getable serves the $41B construction rental market with mobile app for construction teams to order, track, and manage heavy equipment from any supplier.
