Actions Raises VC Funding from Programma 101

setActions srl, a Turin, Italy-based startup that has developed a mobile app to transform a device in a smart and customizable controller for Mac or PC, raised venture capital funding from Programma 101 (P101).

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to update the iPad app (called Quadro) and develop iPhone and Android platforms.

Founded in 2011 by Cristiano Troffei and Enrico Cirone and incubated within I3P Turin, Actions provides an iPad app that transforms the user’s device in a smart and customizable controller for their Mac or PC. It enables to control every computer software via shortcuts, send system or media commands, paste snippets, open webpages, fire macros, etc. It has 500k users worldwide.
The company had already raised funding from Club Italia Investimenti 2.
