VidOn.me, a Beijing, China-based provider of home entertainment and media software, raised $2m in funding.
The names of the backers remained undisclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its solutions.
Led by Wolly Xu, Marketing Director, VidOn.me develops home entertainment software (XBMC) and is now getting into apps with the latest releases of VidOn Player and VidOn Cloud, for Android and iOS. The VidOn Player now works in conjunction with the VidOn Server which allows users to neatly stream, store and categorize their movies, TV shows and photographs.
