UserTesting, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of a user experience platform, secured $45.5M in Series C financing.
The round was led by Accel Partners with participation from OpenView Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Kobie Fuller of Accel Partners will be joining UserTesting’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow and expand its capabilities beyond app and website testing to cover virtually any user experience, anywhere, on demand.
Led by Darrell Benatar, CEO, UserTesting provides companies with tools to test user experiences across all channels and devices. Customers receive videos of real people interacting with their products and services while speaking their thoughts out. Its smartphone and tablet recording technology allows companies to test user experiences anywhere, in brick-and-mortar stores, at live events, on public transportation, and in other real-world locations.
The company has more than 30,000 customers, including Google, Facebook, The Home Depot, Verizon Wireless and Amazon.
