Seismic, a San Diego, CA-based provider of a sales enablement solution, completed a $20m Series B funding.
The round was led by JMI Equity, with participation from previous investor Sigma West. In conjunction with the funding, Peter Arrowsmith, a General Partner at JMI, will join Seismic’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to bolster its product innovation and expand its sales, marketing and customer experience teams.
Founded in 2010 by CEO Doug Winter, Seismic provides a mobile-first, cloud-based sales enablement solution that allows sales teams to deliver content on any device and enables field and inside sales reps to create customized, compliant materials to increase time spent selling, reduce sales cycles and increase customer satisfaction. Its “LiveSend” and “LiveShare” features give sales reps real-time visibility into how their prospects are interacting with the content. Seismic also provides analytics to marketers, giving them full visibility into what materials sales teams are using and how successful the materials are with prospects and customers.
