Ruby Receptionists, Portland, Oregon-based provider of live virtual receptionist services to small businesses, received a $38.8m majority equity investment.
Updata Partners acquired a majority stake while StepStone Group co-invested in the round.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its proprietary software and personalized service offering for small businesses.
