Pluribus Networks, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of an open and programmable SDN platform that brings together computer, network, storage and virtualization, raised US$50m in a Series D round of funding.
The round was led by Temasek Holdings with participation from existing investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Menlo Ventures, Mohr Davidow and AME Cloud Ventures and new investors Ericsson and Newtech.
The company, which has raised US$95m in total funding, intends to use the capital for the expansion of sales, marketing, business development and engineering efforts.
Led by Kumar Srikantan, president and CEO, Pluribus Networks delivers software-defined networking as an open application platform to improve data center operations. The company’s flagship product, Netvisor®, is a distributed network hypervisor operating system, converging compute, network, storage and virtualization with an open, programmable approach.
