My Digital Shield Secures $300K in Seed Funding

mydigitalshieldMy Digital Shield (MDS), a Wilmington, Del.-based provider of Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) for small businesses, secured $300k in second seed round of funding.

The round was led by a group of private investors, including Litera Investments.

MDS, which had raised the first seed round of $500k in July 2014 (read here), bringing its total raised to $800k, intends to use the funds to expand its channel partner marketing and support and product development efforts.

Founded in 2013 Andrew Bagrin, CEO, My Digital Shield provides Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) that delivers enterprise-level security technology to small businesses. Based on unified threat management (UTM) technology, the company’s customizable cloud-based security solution offers continual protection against cyber threats and intrusion.
MDS currently serves numerous managed service providers (MSPs) and small businesses in various industries including retail, restaurants, hospitality, and professional services.
