MediSafe Raises $6M in Series A Funding

MediSafe_logoMediSafe, a Boston, Massachusetts-based global medication management platform, raised a $6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Pitango Venture Capital with participation from 7wire ventures, and existing investors lool Ventures, TriVentures and Eyal Gura.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate user growth in the U.S. market, expand its suite of medication management solutions, and enhance overall user experience within its mHealth apps.

Led by CEO Omri “Bob” Shor, MediSafe is a mobile medication management platform that reminds patients to take their medications via smartphones and tablets. The personalized application – already downloaded by more than 1.3 million users worldwide – alerts family, friends and caregivers if patients miss a dose. The app is available from both Google Play and iTunes.
