Iskn Raises $2M in Seed Funding

isketchnote-notebookIskn, a Grenoble, France-based company that provides an iPad cover that digitizes paper sketches, drawings and notes, raised $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Partech Ventures with participation from CEA Investments, Kima Ventures, and Pascal Cagni.

Founded in 2014 by Jean-Luc Vallejo, Timothee Jobert, and Tristan Hautson, Iskn develops and commercializes iSketchnote, an iPad cover that allows people to digitize paper sketches and notes. It works by allowing users (illustrators, designers, professionals) to put their notebook on the no-slip surface and draw or write something. The work is then digitized on the screen in real-time. People can edit, save, or share theie documents from the iPad with the iSketchnote app.
The company had raised a total of $346,127 in September 2013 on Kickstarter.
